Chris Moore

Car of the Day

My dad is a bit of a character, he has the ability to see through the rust and find the inner beauty of even the most derelict vehicle. He recently 'rescued' what he referred to as a 'woody wagon' that is currently sans-wood and sans-wagon but he sees potential that most of us clearly miss.

This type of gem would be easily missed by a laymen, I won't tell you what such a fine specimen cost to purchase or ship from it's previous resting place in Thunder Bay, Ontario but if you care to make an offer, it will of course be considered.

Make: Monarch (Ford)
Year: 1946

Note: Monarch's were built for the Canadian market only, in the US the Mercury brand was a similar but less luxurious equivalent making this example extremely rare (but not necessarily valuable).
